Remember your Childhood?.... The Filipino Way

Ang Batang 80's

Larong kalye

11.   Patintero – kaylangan mahusay kang magtiming at listo kasi may patotot sa gitna.

Mga Palabas.

Markdown Madness

Markdown Madness

You know how you get annoyed with text scams and random marketer texting you all the time? Actually, sometimes, those texts have something good to offer so don't just delete it without reading it first.

About 2:09 pm today, I got this email from a certain number, it says:

"the heat is on and the hottest SHOE SALE in the metro is back! Enjoy up to 70% discount on skechers, Merrell, Sperry Top-sider, Keds, Pony, Creative Recreation, No Fear and Saucony at the annual Markdown Madness form April 20 to April 24 at the tektite Auditorium, Ortigas, Pasig city 9AM to 8PM"

So, when I check out the link and facebook page, here's what I got:

I may or may not visit this, because i already bought 3 shoes for this quarter and I'm way over my budget already even if it's a good deal. So, enjoy...

I bought 3 vouchers in Metrodeal for underarm whitening which cost 199 each, instead of 300 at Dermcare clinic.

I used the first voucher along side with a Diamond Peel voucher (I also had a post about my diamond peel experience).

After they're done with the diamond peeling procedure, they made me transfer to a private room and made me remove my top, leaving only my bra. All the staff that assisted me were girls, so i didn't felt harassed or something.

However, the actual experience is quite disappointing, after the first one, i haven't use the other two yet.

My experience was, like i said, disappointing. They've apply on 3 types of solution. Putting one after rinsing the other, with an interval of 10 mins. Two for whitening and the last was for skin peeling. I was told to just let it peel, unfortunately mine didn't. There was a disclaimer though, they said that some skin type doesn't really peel and mine, was that kind of skin.

So there, i didn't notice any difference after that. Not that my under arm is hideous and dark, but there were some markings left due to the 3 consecutive pregnancies, and sadly, it hasn't improved or no more different than it was before i came or bought the voucher.

I know this post is a bit useless now, because the event already ended. However, i just want to share my experience and promise to keep my blog updated in case i run into another deal.

After we had our lunch at Dampa, libis. My family and I decided to drop by at the Megatrade hall for the 80% discount of Nike and Adidas by Sports Central last April 09, 2015.

As a person who's really into that brand and preferred those brand as my sweat apparel, i can say that it's truly worth it. You'll just have to put in effort and extra time to get a good deal, meaning halukay kung halukay...

Our bill came up to 7700 plus.. for 3 shoes (1-2300 plus (high cut basketball shoes for my husband), 1-1099 for my running shoes and 1-820 for my sister in law's rubber shoes), 3 bags (1-678 for My son, 1-388 for my sister in law and 1-858 for my brother in law's), 1-358 sleeveless for my husband, 1-420 longsleeves for my husband and 5 assorted socks. for a total of 13 items, if we buy it on original price probably we'll get only 2 to 3 items for that amount.

It's really worth it, and i will be waiting for the next sale to buy my apparel.

The only sad thing is they don't sell stuff for kids.

These are the online sites that I usually visit for a good deal.

http://www.metrodeal.com/

http://www.cashcashpinoy.com/

https://dealgrocer.com/

http://www.ensogo.com.ph/

http://www.lazada.com.ph/

http://olx.ph/

For vouchers on trip and other services, Metrodeal and Ensogo are the best site to go, but for shopping for items with deliveries, it is wise to choose Lazada and Cashcash Pinoy, because they have fast delivery service usually 2 to 7 days and you can pay COD (Cash on Delivery). But if you're in the look for expensive treat like staycation at Manila Hotel, then Deal Grocer is the site to go. For anything else, you have OLX.PH (sulit.com)

Introduction

I work 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday in an office and on weekends, a full time Mom. Window shopping and mall strolling is just included in my long list of wish. If you're a working Mom, you'll understand what i mean.

One thing good about my job is, we have a very fast internet connection that allows me to be on Watch for good Deals, discount and freebies. With the click of the button, just a finger tip away, i could now purchase anything and plan my vacation any time without hassle and worries.

I write this blog to return the favor i'm getting from other bloggers. I get info's about the deals, products and services I purchased from the other bloggers, so i could decide if i would close the deal or not.

I write to express, not to impress. I'm an Engineer, so don't expect my English to be flawless.
